Besides a host of private donors, LOOCIP has been privileged to partner with
the following agencies in order to raise money and effectively implement LOOCIP’s
projects:
Sauti Moja is a Canadian-based NGO. It has supported LOOCIP
via capacity-building initiatives for staff, volunteer support,
and is currently funding one of ’s
HIV/AIDS projects, the Longido Early Childhood Education (LECHE) project, and
a Girl Mother Support Project. It has also funded a research project in regards
to the latter.
Mondo Challenge is a UK-based agency. It has assisted LOOCIP via volunteer support
and is funding a micro-business initiative for vulnerable people in the community
and a Treatment and Care project.
Buro4 is a UK Corporation seeking to partner with the Longido community so as
to assist its development. It is funding the Computer and Internet Resource Center
as well as the Rainwater Harvesting project and Water Source Development project.
(FFTC)
FFTC is an American-based agency. They are working with LOOCIP to enhance medical
services in Longido District.
Friends for African Development (FAD)
FAD is an American registered charity. It is currently funding
LOOCIP ’s
Scholarship Program.
SkillShare has continued to assist LOOCIP with resource mobilization. It has
partnered with LOOCIP to submit a number of project proposals to UK-based funding
agencies.
